Brick Wheels took a weekend trip to Boston with Brick owner Matt Urbano, riders Ricky Borchert, Nate Gibson, Alek Zalewski, Jim Grant, Joe Jacobowitz, newcomer Andrew Rebelo and friends Eric Prindle, Ant Bartholomew and Bill Ryan. Half the crew met at Haven Skatepark and we picked up the rest of the crew at Skate Lair on the way. Got there Friday night and skated some spots around the hotel, and had some brews at Matt’s brother, Dan’s, house. Hit a ton of street spots on Saturday to cure the hangovers. Bombed some hills and everyone killed the spots. Got tons of footage for the upcoming Brick video, Another Poor Decision, coming out this year. Alek had the gnarliest tail drop in front of a crowd of about 200 people. Sunday we met back up with Dan and shot photos at a school and checked out Orchard Skateshop. If you’re in the area check them out. Their mini ramp is solid and their shop video, Out of Body Experience, is insane. Headed back to Dan’s for a sick BBQ then fought traffic all the way back to CT. Thanks to Dan and Marisa Urbano for their hospitality, Nate Gibson and anyone else who picked up the camera to film, the Boston girls who provided plenty of eye candy, Orchard Skateshop, Matt Urbano and everyone on the trip for the good times.-Bill Ryan
